Natsumi the Silvertongue;;

Natsumi turned, her waist long hair turning with her. She was in the library, where she was used to be alone. A book was in her hands, one about leprechauns and pots of gold. It was her little sister tapping her shoulder, looking up at her. "Can we go home now?" Natsumi smiled, "Sure," she ruffled the little girl's hair, before checking out the book and walking out of the library, hand holding her sisters.

Natsumi was 11, her little sister 9. They have an extreme connection, love and friendliness far beyond most average siblings.

Once home, the two settled on the couch. Natsumi opened her book, beginning to read aloud. "...One day, a rainbow appeared in the sky, the pretty colors lightening the sky," Though neither sister noticed, a rainbow appeared. "It's 7 colors glimmered in the sunshine. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. The rainbow's name was Roy G. Biv. He was friends with a leprechaun, who was located at the end. Along with the leprechaun, there was a pot of gold."

Of course, Natsumi figured this was not real. After all, she was a logical person; during the day anyway. But there really was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

After the story, Natsumi's little sister beamed, pointing out the window. "Look sis! There's a rainbow!! Can we follow it to go see the leprechaun?"

Natsumi looked curiously out the window, seeing a rainbow. It was odd. The humidity was low today, and there had been no rain in the past few days. But Natsumi shrugged. "Why not? Let's go."

The 10-year old turned her head to the stairs, "Mom! We're going out to find leprechauns!!"

A smile crossed her face as her mother laughed. "Alright! Be back by dinner!" Her mom called.

It was only one, the sun high in the sky. They would have plenty of time. Her little sister ran ahead, Natsumi jogging behind her.

Almost an hour, they were still following the rainbow. Neither of them were tired, so they kept going. Though, unlike most kids that went to their school, Natsumi and her little sister came from a poor family. They had two or three sets of clothes, hand washing them so they could wear them again. But they were happy. And to those two, that was all they needed.

Natsumi let her little sister run ahead, but not far enough so that the older sister couldn't see her sibling.

"I found the leprechaun! And the gold!" Her sister cried.

She gave a crooked little grin, "I'll be right there!" Of course, she didn't expect anything to be there. However, as she approached, she was shocked. The rainbow was indeed at its end, the leprechaun standing next to the pot of gold.

They all stood there in silence, staring at one other.

"Hello," Natsumi's little sister said. Natsumi just gave a slight nod. The older was never much of a socialite, saying only what was needed and nothing more. At least in the daytime.

"..Hi?" The leprechaun said, "Why aren't you asking for gold? That's why most people seek to find us leprechauns."

The eight year old giggled, "No! We want to be your friend!"

Both Natsumi and the leprechaun smiled. The leprechaun apologetically said, "I'm sorry dear, but I'm a very busy leprechaun. However, I see that both of your hearts are pure. I will give you some gold."

Natsumi's eyes widened, "Really? Thank you!" It was hard for her to express her happiness, since she only usually expressed it around her sister.

The leprechaun chuckled, "My pleasure- Believe me. Do me a favor," He handed Natsumi a paper. "Read this for me." His eyes had a knowing glint in them.

Natsumi took the paper, reading it aloud. "And with that, the leprechaun left, leaving the pot of gold with two girls who he had deemed worthy."

And with that, the leprechaun was gone. The two girls dragged back the pot of gold, not realizing that it was past dinner time.

Their mother was worried sick, but seeing them come over the hill, she ran to greet them.

They were exhausted for carrying the huge pot, but they grinned wildly. "Ma! The leprechaun gave us the gold!" Natsumi's little sister said.

Their mother just chuckled, "Thank you, Mr.Leprechaun!"

They both thanked everything they knew of that night, carrying the gold into the house. The moment they did that, a surge of power ran through Natsumi. She shook it off.

But from that day, every 'mythical' creature knew that Natsumi was a Silvertongue. Someone that could bring words to life.
